Based on the life of the author, former Marine, one-time Franciscan priest, and unconventional vagabond evangelist Brennan Manning who tirelessly preached the unfailing love and amazing grace of Jesus Christ for all while struggling mightily with his own human failings. As a storm approaches the gulf coast, an alcoholic ex-priest Brennan Manning ( Hal Alpert) must rely on hitching a ride with a troubled ragamuffin to get home to New Orleans to save his marriage before it's too late.
